Spring Networks is currently a sole proprietorship located in Spring, Texas. Our mission is to provide reliable and professional IT solutions to small and medium size businesses. Our business status is sure to change as we grow the company one valuable customer at a time.

Consultant's background

From 1987 to 1991 Bruce Averill attended Texas State Technical Institute and University of North Texas. In 1994 he was given a grant to further his technical education by Novell, Inc for a three month course to learn Netware version 3.12. While studying for his Certified Network Engineer certification he was called for an interview with Fina Oil and Chemical Company in Dallas, Texas.

Working for Fina through 3 mergers, 3 name changes, 3 corporate headquarters moves and 15 years was an excellent experience for Bruce. The company became a Global 100 on the last merger and called Houston it's home. During that time he worked in virtually all aspects of IT including desktop, applications, telecommunications, and server departments. Attended IT industry training earning over 25 certificates. Bruce was commended by the Board of Directors of Fina for efforts put forth for Y2K compliance. Member of crisis management team for the health, safety and environmental department.
